During a childhood in India, Dr Sharad Paul had noted villagers rubbing oranges on skin. Intrigued by this vision, and in the belief that ancient remedies have great wisdom he researched orange skin and other ancient remedies. It is this fusion of ancient wisdom and modern biotechnology that is the cornerstone of Baci Cosmetologie

We are NOT into fairness creams as we strongly believe in the uniqueness of brown skin and our founder's book Skin, a biography discusses this. Therefore, what do we mean by whitening? Whitening in the context of MIkanis means reduction of pigmentation and lessening tanning effect in brown skin. Both our day cremes (whitening and smoothing) and indeed and all our products have a unique anti-pigmentation and anti-aging cocktails made from natural extracts. The whitening day creme contains some instant whitening effect so can be used instead of makeup in brown and Asian skin.
Somewhere in pure New Zealand, we formulate our products and manufacture in theUSA(probably the only people to outsource to the USA). In Australia and New Zealand, these products are currently available online only as individual orders are shipped direct from our manufacturing facility. We do not use any parabens, any formaldehyde-donors, any urea-derivatives, or any isothiazolinones as preservatives. Importantly, we understand the needs of the modern life -- hence our day cream can be used with any make-up product, is non-greasy and long lasting and our sun-screen is of organic origin. Our products also have a long shelf-life of 2 years.

For many years I've been frustrated by lack of products for my brown skin. I've been astounded that many people in India are using sun-tan lotions or sunscreens designed for white skin, thereby causing increased tanning or darkening of skin (which is the opposite of what they are trying to achieve).
After 14 years of prototype testing, we are now ready to address the needs of brown skin, with our Mikanis MD daily treatment.
